My Goal
My goal is to keep growing as a photographer by shooting consistently, capturing the true stories, and improving a little every day. I want my images to feel like they have a clean composition, natural light, and moments that matter. In school, that means leading my team well and delivering on deadlines. Long term, I plan to study photojournalism, build a strong, diverse portfolio, and work on bigger projects that challenge me to see deeper and serve my community through my work.
Automotive
Automotive photography is about making the car look its best. I focus on clean lines, reflections, and small details like badges and wheels. I shoot at golden hour or on overcast days to avoid harsh glare, and I use low angles and leading lines to give the car more presence. For motion, I do panning or rolling shots to show speed with a sharp subject and a blurred background. The goal is simple: show the car’s design clearly and make it feel alive.
Freelance
I also enjoy just taking my own personal photos I really enjoy taking photos of nature and animals. It keeps me remembering where I went and what it looked like.
Groups Shots
When a group of people are together they share laughs and tell stories. A photo can capture the group's collective memories keeping the moment forever.
Hi!
About Me
I’m Anton Betthauser, a Scottsdale-based student photojournalist. As a Editor of my high school yearbook, I help lead a 25–30 person team, build coverage plans, create style guides, and mentor new shooters. I focus on honest, in-the-moment images with strong composition and natural light, delivering reliable, fast turnarounds. Wrestling shapes my workflow—stay calm under pressure, control what you can, and take the next shot. I plan to study photojournalism and keep refining my craft through consistent practice and thoughtful storytelling.
